Sculptra & Biostimulators Masterclass (1 Day)

This one-day advanced masterclass is designed for licensed healthcare professionals with injectable experience who want to move beyond traditional dermal fillers and develop a more regenerative approach to facial rejuvenation. The course focuses on Sculptra, poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), and the wider principles of collagen-stimulating treatments.

You will explore how biostimulators differ from hyaluronic acid fillers, with a strong focus on patient selection, facial assessment, staged treatment planning, product preparation, injection depth, tissue planes, and managing gradual results. Training also considers full-face structural support, skin quality, treatment sequencing, complications, aftercare, and how Sculptra can complement other injectable treatments.

A significant part of the day is dedicated to supervised practical learning with live models in small groups. This gives you the opportunity to apply treatment-planning principles, refine preparation and injection technique, receive direct trainer feedback, and develop a more considered approach to collagen-led facial rejuvenation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Not if you are completely new to injectable aesthetics. This is an advanced masterclass for licensed healthcare professionals who already have injectable experience and want to move beyond traditional dermal fillers into collagen-stimulating treatments. If you have not previously trained in injectable procedures, foundation-level Botox and dermal filler training would be a more appropriate starting point.

The masterclass is designed for appropriately qualified licensed healthcare professionals with previous injectable experience. Eligibility to perform Sculptra and other injectable treatments varies by profession and state, and supervision, prescribing, scope-of-practice, and medical-director requirements may apply. Attendees should confirm the relevant requirements with their licensing board, employer, insurer, and medical director where applicable.

Sculptra produces gradual collagen-led improvements that can last around two years or longer in suitable patients, although individual results vary. Treatment is typically planned as a staged course rather than a one-off procedure, with results reviewed over time as collagen develops. The course covers consultation, treatment spacing, photography, expectation setting, review, and longer-term treatment planning.

Yes. Supervised live-model training is a central part of the masterclass. Practical sessions take place in small groups, allowing you to apply patient assessment, treatment planning, Sculptra preparation, tissue-plane selection, and injection techniques under direct trainer supervision. The emphasis is on translating the theory into structured clinical decision-making while receiving focused feedback throughout the practical session.

Training covers patient selection, contraindications, safer product preparation and placement, adverse effects, warning signs, aftercare, and complication prevention. You will also examine concerns including papules, nodules, infection, inflammatory reactions, and suspected vascular events, together with appropriate review, management considerations, and when a patient should be referred for more experienced clinical assessment.

Yes. For appropriately qualified practitioners who meet their professional, insurance, and state requirements, the masterclass is designed to provide the clinical framework and supervised practical experience needed to begin introducing Sculptra into practice. You will leave with a clearer approach to patient selection, preparation, injection technique, treatment-course planning, and aftercare, which can then be developed through continued clinical experience.
